Reign Ease® PRO-C
A cushioned pad that sits on the poll, just behind the ears. Its ceramic turns your horse's body heat into far infrared aimed at the poll and neck, switching on the rest-and-digest side so the neck and back let go and your horse can focus on you.

Tension starts behind the ears
The poll is the spot just behind your horse's ears, where the crown piece of the bridle sits. It's where a stressed horse locks up first, and the brace doesn't stay there: a stiff poll means a braced neck, and a braced neck means a tight back. PRO-C fastens to the crown piece so Gladiator's ceramic rests right on the poll. Most of the far infrared lands there, in the muscles that lock up first, and as they let go the neck lengthens and the back comes with it. Some travels on through the body as well, but the poll is where PRO-C does its work.
Braced at the poll
- Head up, neck locked
- Back tight, steps short and stiff
- Distracted by everything around them
- Your first 20 minutes go to getting them soft
Soft at the poll
- Head lower, neck long
- Back swinging, moving freely
- Alert, but listening to you
- The ride you came for, sooner
That's the point of PRO-C: a horse that's more comfortable in their own body, easier to ride, and with you from the first step. It's made to wear every day, so it goes with you to the trailer, the new barn and the warm-up ring.

I've noticed a big difference in the horses' preparation time for the hunters.

Once we tried them once, we never looked back.

I noticed some very good results as soon as I started using it!

With young horses, we find that we get to apply and help them relax, take on new lessons.

Pointed at the poll
Gladiator shapes each ceramic to face the body, so it works on the area it points at. In PRO-C, every ceramic faces down into the poll, right behind the ears.
Putting it on
- 1Two bumps to the front
Set it on the poll with the two bumps just in front of the crown piece, three behind.
- 2Crown piece between the pads
The crown piece fills the gap between the front and rear pads, flush with both.
- 3Close the Velcro
Fold the cloth tab over the crown piece and press it closed, with the forelock and mane lying flat underneath.
At the poll
In the earThe Calming Solution
Reign Ease PRO-C plus a pair of Gladiator Plughz in your horse's size. The ceramic works at the poll and in the ears at once.
Will it fit my bridle?
It's one size and fastens with Velcro under the crown piece of any bridle or halter up to 1¾ in wide. On a narrower 1 in crown, use it with a bonnet or attachment.
My horse won't wear ear plugs. Will PRO-C still help?
Yes. Nothing goes in the ears: PRO-C works at the poll, helping the muscles there let go so the neck and back can follow. Riders whose horses do wear plugs often use both.
When do I put it on, and for how long?
20 to 60 minutes before you ride, then leave it on for the ride. There's no time limit. If your horse gets quieter than you'd like, try a shorter window before you get on.
Can I use it at shows?
Yes in the jumper ring. Hunters and dressage don't allow it in competition, so use it at home and for schooling, and pair it with Gladiator Plughz for the hunter ring. See the rules and where they come from.
Do the ceramics wear out?
No. You could bury one on the beach, dig it up 20 years later, and it would still be working. That means the ceramic can outlast the gear it comes in, and people find other ways to put it to work. Riders use them on themselves, too.
What if it doesn't work for my horse?
PRO-C comes with our 30-day money-back guarantee. Call us at +1-610-215-2004 to start a return. Shipping costs aren't refundable.
