A chestnut horse in the PTR Blanket, with Fetlock Wraps and Bell Boots on the front legs
Recovery · Powered by Gladiator

For the hooves, the legs and the back that carries you

A show weekend, a hard week on firm footing, a long trailer ride: every horse works hard for you. The PTR™ gear turns your horse's own body heat into far infrared aimed at the hooves, joints and muscles, supporting healthy circulation while they rest, so they walk out of the stall looser and more comfortable.

PTR™ Bell Boots

For hard-working feet, worn overnight.

A hoof stays healthy on good blood flow. Overnight in the stall, these boots aim Gladiator's ceramic at the hoof, turning your horse's body heat into far infrared that supports healthy circulation into the foot, while the boot itself guards the heels.

  • On after the work, left on all night in the stall

PTR™ Fetlock Wraps

For the fetlocks, after a big day.

Every landing puts your horse's full weight through the fetlock, and over a show weekend that adds up. Put the wraps on after the ride and Gladiator's ceramic, aimed at the joint, supports healthy blood flow around it, so they're more comfortable when they walk out the next morning.

  • Snug, never tight, so they can stay on until morning
  • One size, front or hind legs, four Velcro straps

PTR™ Blanket

For the back and topline after hard work.

Your horse's topline carries you, your saddle and every fence you jump, and that's where the tightness settles. Six pads of ceramics are set into the mesh over the hips, midline, shoulders and brachial plexus, and within 15 to 20 minutes they're supporting healthy circulation and helping tight muscles relax.

  • On like a cooler, Velcro at the chest
  • Leave it on as long as you like, overnight included

A case from State College, Pennsylvania

The horse they nearly put down

This horse was brought into a clinic in State College with laminitis so bad that it was there to be put down. One of the vets we work with asked to try Gladiator's ceramics first. The Bell Boots didn't exist yet, so the ceramics were glued straight onto the hoof at the coronary band.

These are that horse's venograms. A venogram uses dye to show the blood vessels inside the hoof, and the first was taken before the ceramics went on. In the later two you can also pick out the ceramics, carried down the hoof as new hoof grew in above them.

Today the horse is back to giving lessons.

  • Venogram of the same hoof 30 days later30 daysThe ceramics are about halfway down the hoof
  • Venogram of the same hoof 120 days later120 daysThe ceramics have almost reached the ground

This is one horse's story, and every horse is different. If your horse is having trouble with its feet, your vet and farrier should be the ones making the plan.
