Reign Ease® PRO
A bare silicone pad that sits on the poll, just behind the ears, held in place by the crown piece. Its ceramic turns your horse's body heat into far infrared aimed at the poll and neck, switching on the rest-and-digest side so the neck and upper back let go.

It starts behind the ears
The poll is the spot just behind your horse's ears, where the crown piece of the bridle sits. Tension there doesn't stay there: a tight poll braces the neck, and a braced neck stiffens the upper back. PRO sits right on the poll, under the crown piece. Most of the far infrared lands there, in the muscles that brace first, and as they soften the neck lengthens and the upper back follows. Some carries on through the body too, but the poll is where PRO does its work.
Holding on
- Head high, poll tight
- Neck and upper back braced
- On edge somewhere new
- Hard to get their attention
Letting go
- Head lower, poll soft
- Supple through the neck and upper back
- Settled, even away from home
- Listening to you
That's what PRO is for: a horse that's comfortable in their own body and easier to ride. It goes wherever your horse does: the barn, the trailer and the warm-up ring.
Gladiator in their barns

I've noticed a big difference in the horses' preparation time for the hunters.

Once we tried them once, we never looked back.
Amanda Steege

I noticed some very good results as soon as I started using it!

With young horses, we find that we get to apply and help them relax, take on new lessons.

Aimed at the poll
Gladiator shapes each ceramic to face the body, so it works on the area it points at. In PRO, every ceramic faces down into the poll, right behind the ears.
Putting it on
- 1Clip the bridle path
Gladiator recommends a clipped bridle path, so the pad lies flat against the poll.
- 2Two bumps to the front
Set it on the poll with the two bumps just in front of the crown piece, three behind.
- 3Crown piece between the pads
Do up the bridle as usual. The crown piece fills the gap between the front and rear pads, flush with both, and holds PRO in place.
At the poll
In the earAdd Gladiator Plughz®
PRO works at the poll. Gladiator Plughz put the same Gladiator ceramic in the ears, so you can calm at the poll and in the ears at once.
Shop Gladiator PlughzWhat's the difference between PRO and PRO-C?
Same Gladiator ceramic, same size and fit. PRO is bare silicone and sits under the crown piece, which holds it in place. PRO-C has a cloth cover that makes the pad firmer and lets it Velcro to the crown piece. If you'd rather fasten it on, see the PRO-C.
Will it fit my bridle?
It's one size and sits under a crown piece up to 1¾ in wide. On a narrower 1 in crown, use it with a bonnet or attachment.
When do I put it on, and for how long?
20 to 60 minutes before you ride, then keep it on for the ride. It's made for continuous wear, with no time limit.
How soon will I see a difference?
Usually within 30 minutes. Look for the head dropping, some licking and chewing, and a deeper breath.
My horse won't wear ear plugs. Will PRO still help?
Yes. Nothing goes in the ears: PRO works at the poll, helping the muscles there let go so the neck and upper back can follow. For horses that do wear plugs, you can use PRO and Gladiator Plughz together.
Do the ceramics wear out?
No. You could bury one on the beach, dig it up 20 years later, and it would still be working. That means the ceramic can outlast the gear it comes in, and people find other ways to put it to work. Riders use them on themselves, too.
What if it doesn't work for my horse?
PRO comes with our 30-day money-back guarantee. Call us at +1-610-215-2004 to start a return. Shipping costs aren't refundable.
